LightMAT DataHUB’s repository provides a framework where standardized materials data are collected, archived, preserved, shared, and made accessible to ensure preservation and approved access to data products generated by LightMAT consortium members and project partners.

The Lightweight Materials National Laboratory Consortium is a network of 10 national laboratories with technical capabilities highly relevant to lightweight materials development and utilization. LightMAT provides straightforward access to resources and capabilities in this network via a single point of contact and works to match industry research teams with expertise and equipment found only at national laboratories. Established as part of the Energy Materials Network, LightMAT is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy.
