Dataset:
Grain size of Mg-Ca and Mg-Sn binary alloys for DFT solid solution strenghtening model

To investigate the solid solution strengthening contributions of Ca and Sn, the UIUC team developed physics-based DFT models to simulate unit mechanisms at the dislocation level, which will then be used to support crystal plasticity models being developed by PNNL. The UF team worked to provide samples for experimental inputs and data for validation for the computational simulations.
